Sustainability matters at Grand Central Bakery in both purchasing and practice.  Whenever possible, Grand Central gives preference to local producers and distributors. Everything possible in our cafes and production areas is composted and recycled. We're doing our best to reduce our carbon footprint with NW Natural Smart Energy and the renewable energy programs at Pacific Power and PGE.  And we're especially proud that most Grand Central employees are passionate bike and bus riders, walkers and alternative transportation enthusiasts!
